WILLIAMS FUNERAL SET IN BARRYTON
BARRYTON--Funeral services are set for Friday at 11 a.m. in the Barryton Church of God for Mrs. Alverta Williams, 73, of Barryton, who died Tuesday after injuries suffered in a car collision two miles north of Remus on M-66.
Rev. Wayne Lyon will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in the Flake Cemetery in Barryton.
Mrs. Williams was born on July 21, 1894 in Barryton where she had been a life long resident. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, the Past Noble Grand club and the Barryton Rod and Gun Club auxiliary.
Surviving are four stepchildren, Mrs. Beulah Wilson of Barryton, Leonard Williams of Lansing, Mrs. Velma Jackson and Mrs. Leola Watson both of Elsie.
Also surviving are two cousins, Mrs. Helen Nellis of Barryton and Mrs. Bertha Sebolt of Muskegon.
Friends may call at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton until 10 a.m. on Friday.
Alverta was married four times. Archie Vaughn on Nov. 17, 1913. David Knuth on Aug. 2, 1916. Harry Williams on May 8, 1928 and Wendell S. Hall on Dec. 23, 1948.
