The obituary which ran in The Indianapolis Star, January 7, 1983, reads: "Harry C. Ray - Services for Harry C. Ray, 84, Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Indianapolis, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, of which he was a member. He died Wednesday in a hospital at Pompano Beach. He was born in Indianapolis and lived here 64 years. He worked in the security department at Chevrolet Division of General Motors Corp. 20 years, retiring 20 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Cecelia Ray; two daughters, Helen Williams and Mary Huffman, and a son, Harold Ray."
