SCALP LEVEL--Mrs. Katherine Colwitz, 78, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Old Folks Home in Scalp Level. She had been a resident at the home the past year. Previous to that, Mrs. Colwitz made her home with a sister-in-law, Mrs. Stephen Haddon of Croyle Township. The deceased was a daugther of John and Henrietta Haddon and was born May 28, 1860. Her husband, Fred Colwitz, passed away twenty two years ago.
The remains have been removed to the George Brother's Funeral Home in South Fork. Funeral services probably will be conducted Monday. Interment will be in the Coleman Cemetery near Wilmore.
