Peg was raised by her stepmother, Margaret Ketter Schaumberg. She married Ernest in 1925, a year after he entered medical school in Port Washington. She and Ernest continued to live in Port Washington after his receiving his medical degree. However, after Ernest's death she returned to Iowa County. In 1934 she married Louis Edward Williamson. On the 1940 census, she is a lodger in Chicago, married, and a student nurse at Cook County Hospital. She was awarded her captaincy 16 Jun 1947 and served as a nurse administrator. Her head- stone states she was a Captain in the Army during WWII. She lived most of her life in the Chicago area; but in the mid 1970s returned to her childhood home of Mineral Point, WI.

Ernest Aston's parents were C.G. and Maggie I. Aston. In 1914-15, he entered Univ Wis. Letters and Science, Commerce program as a freshman from Shullsburg, WI. In 1924, he attended Marquette University School of Medicine, Milwaukee where he earned his M.D. He died 2 Jun 1933 of heart disease at the age of 36.
