Albert and his wife, Dorothy, lived their entire married life in Grosse Point, Michigan, where they raised their daughter, an only child. Dorothy died in 1966 and Albert remained a widower for two years. In 1968 he married long time family friend, Mildred Beaulah Walters. Albert and Mildred retired to Seminole, Florida, where they resided until their deaths, Albert in 1998 and Mildred in 1999.
