Cemetery: Pleasant GroveMary died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Spriggs. She was 66 yrs old. She married Isham B. Cole September 23, 1883. He died July 24, 1884. She Married Andrew Jackson Mayo August 15, 1886. To this union ten children were born, Mrs. Minnie Spriggs, of Geff, Ill.; Mr. Rossie Mayo, Mrs. Dora Yoho, Mrs. Cora Shreve, of Pawnee, Ill., Mr. Noble Mayo, Miss Eva Mayo, Fairfield, Ill.; Mrs. Elsa Mattox, Chenoa, Ill.; three having died some years ago. May 28th, 1914 her husband died and she was again left a widow. She leave to mourn their loss, her seven children just mentioned and two step-children John Mayo and Mrs. Emma Dehart eleven grandchildren and two sisters Mrs. Ollie Doty and Mrs. Alice Wagner of Evansville, Ind., and many other relatives and friends.

She was converted to a belief in Christ in her girlhood days and on Sept. 12, 1920 she was baptized and placed her membership with the Baptist church at Oak Valley and was a faithful member until death. She had been a sufferer of diesase for about nine years, but bore it patiently.
