Gladys was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, and cooking and was a member of Holy Family Cathedral. She was married to Jack H. Shackle who preceded her in death January 21, 1991. She was a graduate of Oktaha High School. In addition to her husband, Jack, the following also preceded her in death: both of her parents; one brother, Wesley Shackle; two infant sisters; and a sister, Ora Lee Raines.
Her survivors include her daughter, Theresa; two sons, Michael and Paul; three sisters: Mildred, Faye, and Naomi; one brother, Leon; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visitation will take place 10 am – 8 pm, Wednesday, March 30th at the funeral home.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel with Monsignor Geir officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
