Jenny was born to Hiram and Matilda Cathcart Anderson probably at their residence in Little York, Washington Co., IN. She married Elmer Ellsworth Jones in May 1887. She gave birth to two daughters: Zella E. Jones 5/13/88 and Zula E. Jones Everitt 6/1891. She died in Lawrenceburg IN when the daughters were only 5 and 2. Her surviving spouse, Elmer, took their daughters to family in Underwood IN and Scottsburg IN for them to raise. Elmer disappeared to parts unknown and never saw his daughters again. I know he re-married and had a son that came calling one day on Zella, but Zella would not see him. She and her sister, Zula, lived their lives despising their father. I would like to know where he went. I know virtually nothing about Jenny, my great grandmother, except that she was known as a wonderful woman during the short time she was on the earth.
