The funeral was held from the home yesterday sfternoon, Rev. M.S. Satchell, of Hershey, conducting the services. Interment was made in the North Platte Cemetery.
James H. Davis was born in Ohio, March 25, 1845. Died at the home of his sister, Mrs. N.B. Spurrier, Nov. 8, 1915, at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 18 days. When only sixteen he enlisted in the Civil War, in which he served over three years, until he was disabled at Pleasant Hill, La.
