Mrs. Willie A. Coyner died at the home of her father-in-law near Coal, Monday, June 2, at 9 p.m., after several months illness of that dread destroyer, consumption. She was born and raised in the county, married Lewis W. Coyner March 1, 1888 and the grief stricken husband is now left with three little children, the oldest only five years. Mrs. Coyner joined the Tebo Baptist church and was baptized by Rev. Thomas Briggs about two years before her marriage. She was ready when the call came. She had most wonderful religious experiences during her illness. She was so young to be called from earth, only 25, and desired to live for her husband and children, but was reconciled. She was laid away in Mt. Olivet beside her father and three sisters. Within the last ten months, her mother, Mrs. A. E. Fairman, has been bereaved of three grown daughters, by the same fatal malady.
