Born December 31, 1938 in Colbert, Oklahoma to Floyd and Florence Giles, she was employed at Calera Manor Nursing Home in Calera and the Katy Hospital in Denison, Texas.
Survivors include her mother, Florence Giles, Durant; a son, Wilbur Gene Allen III, Atoka; two daughters, Donna Vaugh, Durant and Retha Brooks, Atoka; two brothers, Marion H. Giles, Durant and Floyd E. Giles, Moore; three sisters, Ruth Bridges, Denison, Ilene Brown, Gordonville, and Vera Cook, Achille; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
