SCREVEN - Mrs. Rosa Lee Thornton Griffis, 86, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a long illness.
The Pierce County native was a member of Ephesus Churcg of God.
Surviving are four sons, Julian Griffis of Screven, Williard Griffis of Jesup, Philemon Griffis of Dublin and David L. Griffis of Patterson; a sister, Mrs. Viola Robertson of Jacksonville, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Sunday at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Appling County, burial in Ephesus Cemetery.
Gordon-Harrison Funeral Home of Jesup.
