Harrah — Wyatt and Dalton Ables entered this life Sept. 29, 2005, identical twins born in Norman to Brandy Ables, and entered eternal life Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the age of 5. The boys spent the majority of their childhood days in Foster before moving to Harrah.

They were born two minutes apart, with Wyatt being ahead. They were climbers, any tree, or anything they could climb. The higher they could climb; the better. They loved to play crash with cars and also loved playing with tractors and other toys.

They were both outgoing, and loved helping their mother anytime. When one of the boys was passive, the other was aggressive. They were in cahoots in everything they did. The neighbor's big apple tree was their favorite hangout. They were free as birds and they switched roles easily.

They had the twin language down to a tee. Since they were identical twins, they loved playing games on adults, who could not tell them apart. Sometimes, they were asked just one time too often if they were identical twins, so they would roll their eyes and look at whoever would ask such a question.

The boys were faithful members of the First Baptist Church of Elmore City, where Dr. Bruce McCray was the only pastor they had ever had, and they attended Sunday School where Debbie Balentine and Renee Chapman taught them about the Lord.

The boys are survived by their mother, Brandy Ables of Harrah; grandparents, Jim and Camelia Drake, of Childress, Texas, and Esther and John Key, of Tuttle; aunts, Camelia Griffith, of Harrah, Angelina Drake, of Summit, Ark., and Leah Aufill, of Perkins; and uncles, Stephan Ables, of Foster, and Phillip Ables, of Norman.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in the Elmore City First Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce McCray officiating.

In Loving Memory of, Wyatt and Dalton Ables, two Twin 5 year old boys from Oklahoma.

Wyatt and Dalton Ables were, two Twin Five Year old boys, full of inspiration and wonder. They looked at each new day as a day of adventure and time with someone they loved and appreciated. Their mother, Brandy Ables, has been a friend of mine since middle school and she is one of the most loving mothers that I have known. she has helped me and many others in times of need. For those of you that have not been following the news, her two boys were taken from her. Brandy was in the process of getting a divorce from David Ables after years of arguments, differences and some abuse as well. They were both struggling to come to terms with things that divorce brings and from what I know, Brandy was not asking for much. She wanted to get back on her feet and learn to live the life of an independent woman and mother who could be strong for her twin boys. Brandy had gotten a place of her own, secured a good job and was working to provide a future for these two beautiful children. A few days ago, the unexpected happened…

On March 5, 2011, David had custody of the two boys in Foster, Oklahoma and for whatever reason, he made an awful and terrible decision. David called Brandy and left her a message telling her how he felt about the divorce and to check his facebook, where he left a message that was already received far too late. He decided to take the lives of the two boys, with the assumption that he would be able to travel with them both to heaven. On that day, Wyatt and Dalton Able lost their lives, their future and the lives of many were heartbroken. Their mother, Brandy Ables, is left to deal with the pain and memory. In time she may share more of her story to help others, but this is her story now and she needs time to grieve and heal. So does her family. Everyone has questions and wants answers, but we all need to be patient, friends, family, the media. Remember, these are real people affected by this. How would you feel if it happened to you? What would you do?

Brandy is a sincere, wonderful and loving person. She has done much for her community and has been a nurse here in Oklahoma. This is something that no one really knows how to deal with. She has not been able to work during all of this and we want to make sure and look out for her in this time of need. Please share your strength, love and support. Let us all, Treat each other with kindness and learn to appreciate one another more and work to improve our communication and work to resolve any issues everyday and moment that we can.
