Deceased Name: Walter G Pamperin
Walter G. Pamperin, 55, of 3415 Hummingbird Loop S., Owensboro, died Monday, Aug. 12, 1991, at his home. He was born in Davenport, Iowa; was employed as a cross-country truck driver for USA Trucking; had worked for Nichols Home Shield in Davenport for 26 years; and was a member of the Catholic Church. He had served in the Army during the Korean War and attained the rank of sergeant in the Special Forces.
Survivors include his wife, Judy V. Pamperin; four sons, Timothy Gerard Pamperin of Davenport, Scott Allen Pamperin of Nashville, Donald Eugene Atherton Jr. of Antioch, Tenn., and Chance Leon Atherton of Owensboro; two daughters, Debra Lynn Ludin of Davenport and Susan Elaine Pamperin of Nashville; his mother, Fern Dorothy Salvador of Castro Valley, Calif.; a stepmother, Beatrice Pamperin of Los Angeles; nine grandchildren; three brothers, David, Raymond and Michael Pamperin, all of Los Angeles; and four sisters, Nancy Whitcomb, Marlene Bouer and Pam Burroughs, all of Davenport, and Janet Pamperin of Los Angeles.
Private services will be held. Burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Owensboro.
Visitation from 4-8 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today.
