Maggie Cheney Beasley,95,died April 17th in Forest Park after a long illness.
The Tattnall County native was a member of the First united Methodist Church in Forest Park.
She was the widow of Samuel C. Beasley.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Beasley of Atlanta and Martha Williams of Forest Park, three granddaughters, Virginia Jones of Clarkston, Jean Long of Ellenwood, and Carol Varner of Watkinsville, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 19th at Parkway Gardens Chapel in Forest Park with Rev. John Sorrow officiating. Interment was at Reidsville City Cemetery at 4 o'clock with Rev. David Hudson and Rev. Clyde Lee Jordan officiating.
Pallbearers were Donald Jones, Phillips Long, John Varner, Barry Harden Bill Molony, John Gray.
