OBITUARY OF KAYE ESTELLE DESPAIN

Kaye Estelle (Poulsen) DESPAIN, born to Gwen and Lynn R. POULSEN on June 17, 1947 in Mount Pleasant, Utah. Kaye was the oldest of four sisters. Nanette KIKUMOTO, Wendy LINARES, and Becky Poulsen LONGSON.

She is survived by her three sons, David (Rachel) DESPAIN, Anthony DESPAIN, and Aaron (Jaca) DESPAIN. Kaye is a grandparent to Trinda DESPAIN 16, Paris DESPAIN 11, Vada DESPAIN 6, Alexis DESPAIN 7, Axel DESPAIN 4, and Aliza DESPAIN 8 months.

Kaye graduated from high school and then went on to become a skilled medical billing specialist. She was married for 35 years and always helped her family in times of need. Kaye was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Young Women's program and was a Relief Society president. She also served as the ward chorister for many years. Kaye moved her family many different places, which included Colorado where some of the fondest memories were made with lifelong friends. Kaye continued to work hard as her sons had families of their own. She eventually joined her sons in Arizona to be closer to her grandchildren.

Kaye diligently cared for her parents and loved them greatly. Her father, Lynn R. POULSEN, still resides in Mount Pleasant where Kaye will be buried hear her mother. Her surviving family takes great comfort in knowing that we will see her again.

Funeral Services were held Thursday October 19, 2006 at 12:00 noon in the Mount Pleasant Stake Center. Viewings were held Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary and from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to Services at the Church. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery under the direction of Rasmussen Mortuary.
