Terry Joe Hrubes, the son of Clarence and Joan E. (Lemke) Hrubes was born March 1, 1960 at Belmond. He graduated from Garner - Hayfield High School in 1978. Terry attended Hawkeye Tech at Waterloo, majoring in diesel mechanics. He also worked at Schultz Manufacturing in Waterloo while going to school.

He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catlholic Church and the Catholic Workman's Lodge.

He is survived by his parents, Clarence and Joan Hrubes; his brothers and sisters, Gaylord of Mason City, Mrs. Thomas (Renee) Devine of Ames, Patti, Michael and Suzette all at home; a niece, Rachel Devine; his grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Lemke of Klemme.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jilji and Rose Hrubes and his grandfather, Walter Lemke.

Burial is in St. John's Catlholic Cemetery, Duncan, Iowa.
