William Francis Henderson, 94, died Thursday evening at the Teller Arms Nursing Home, where he lived. A resident of Grand Junction since 1943, he had been ill for the past two months. Mr. Henderson was born on July 11, 1877 in Osage County, Missouri, and spent his childhood in Oklahoma and Kansas. He was married at Greenfield, Okla., in 1919 to Lula Reddick, who died in 1926 in Watonga, Okla. and was previously married to Jennie Peevler, who died in 1946 at Great Falls, Mont. A laborer, he had lived in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas and Montana before moving to Grand Junction 29 years ago. Surviving him are his two sons, Frank Henderson of Great Falls and LaVern Henderson of Chardon, Ohio; three stepsons, Francis Reddick of Coweta, Okla., LeRoy Reddick of Watonga, and William Reddick of Grand Junction; a half brother; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Curgman of Olathe and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
