V. N. Zabala Rosary to Be Recited Today

A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Rose-Neath Funeral Chapel in Bossier City, for Vincent N. Zabala Sr., 56, of 3104 Bragge St. in Bossier City, who died Friday at the Barksdale Air Force Base Hospital after a long illness.

He was a retired Air Force staff sergeant and had lived in Bossier City for six years. He was a member of the Catholic Church and was born in the Philippines.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Asunciin Zabala; three sons, Morton N. Zabala and Maximino Zabala, both of Bossier City, and Vincent N. Zabala Jr. at the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md.; a brother, Frederico Zabala of the Philippines, and three sisters, Mrs. Eusibia Navor, Miss Paulina Zabala and Miss Juana Zabala, all of the Philippines.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Barksdale Chapel No. 1 by the Rev. John W. Morgan, Barksdale Chaplain. Burial with full military rites will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
