Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Willingham of First Presbyterian Church of Matthews officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn East Cemetery. His family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 4431 Old Monroe Road.
Mr. Kale was born August 23, 1936 in North Belmont to the late Hall H. and Esther Lowe Kale. He was a retired firefighter with the Charlotte Fire Department and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Matthews, and was a member of Goshen Presbyterian Church in North Belmont. Hall loved fishing, woodworking and playing ball with his grandchildren. He was a devoted Duke fan and a loving husband and father.
His survivors include his wife of 38 years, Betty H. Kale of Matthews; his daughter, Selena Kale Tadlock and husband David of New Salem; his son, Gregory A. Kale and wife Victoria of New Hampshire; his brother, John P. Kale and wife Brenda of North Belmont; his sister, Helen Kale Wooten and husband Noah of Indian Trail; and by his beloved grandchildren, Cara, Adam, Ethan, and Corbin Tadlock.
The family requests that memorials may be made to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
