[Obit] Ira M. Abbott, known among his friends as "Jack", died at the residence of Mrs. Anna Barklow. Mr. Abbott was born at Sweet Home, Ore., Apr.25,1882 and died at Myrtle Point, Apr.25,1916 age 33 years 11 months 21 days. At age six he moved with his parents to Scio,Ore. and remained there, then he came to North Bend,Ore. in 1905. About a year later he came to Myrtle Point where he was in the barber business. May 20,1908, he was united in marriage to Miss Alta Barklow to this union was born two boys. Besides his wife and sons, he leaves 2 brothers and 2 sisters. [MPE-4/20/1916]
