He was born May 25, 1926 in Glenbar, Arizona to Vera (Wilkins) and Isaac Lee Pease. Cecil was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a Navy veteran of World War II-he was a plank holder on the USS Boxer, serving in the Pacific.
He was married to his sweetheart, the former Wilma Pearl Rasmussen, on May 16, 1948. He lived a long and fulfilling life and will be missed by family and friends.
Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; his son, Wilmot Lee Pease; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brothers, Irvin and Bill; and his sisters, Vera and Betty. He is survived by his children Bruce Kay Pease (Janice), Danny Ray Pease (Ellen), and Debra Mae Wyatt (Allen); nineteen grandchildren; his brother, Ernie Pease; and his sisters, Erleen Wayment and Lois Littlefield.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in the Sharon Park Fifth Ward Chapel, 150 East 600 North, Orem, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12590 South 2200 West, Riverton, Utah, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. on March 29, 2011 at the Church.
Interment will be in Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East College Street (4580 South), Millcreek Township, Utah.
