Mrs. Sarah I. Cunningham, 87, Volant, RD 2, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Magee, Wednesday. She had been ill for the past six months. Born in Springfield Twp., Mercer County, Aug. 27, 1871, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Malinda Uber Rodgers. She was married to Esli W. Cunningham, who died June 13, 1932. Mrs. Cunningham previously resided in Plain Grove. She was a member of the Plain Grove Presbyterian Church and the Church Missionary Society. Surviving are the children, Mrs. Heath (Elda) Miller, Sharon RD 2; William M. Cunningham, Volant RD 2; Mrs. Magee; two brothers, Herman Rodgers, Volant RD 2; Bert Rodgers, Redlands, Calif.: nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Services will be held in the Cunningham Funeral Home, Leesburg, Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. John O. Miller of the Center Presbyterian Church and Rev. David Turmire of the Plain Grove Presbyterian Church in charge. Interment will be in Plain Grove Cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
