RUBY L. SHEFBUCH Ruby L. Shefbuch, 76, of 9633 N. Country Club Rd., Piqua died at 3:20 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Vitas Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 12, 1934 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She married Jacob F. Shefbuch October 10, 1952 in Covington; he preceded her in death February 14, 2007. Survivors include a daughter, Gail Aukerman of Piqua; two sons, Scott (Liz) Shefbuch, and Clifford (Francis) Shefbuch all of Piqua; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Charles W. "Bud" Glassburn, Jr. of Titusville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. C. W. and E. Blanche (Ropp) Glassburn, Sr. Mrs. Shefbuch was a1951 graduate of Piqua Central High School, retired as a sales clerk from the Elder-Beerman Department Store in Piqua. In addition, she worked along side her husband with the family Construction and Laundromat businesses. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its Hope Circle. She enjoyed her family, bowling, and her volunteer work with Piqua Memorial Hospital and its Fractured Follies fundraiser. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Castor officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 248 Wood St., Piqua, OH 45356.
