Mrs. Hettie M. Westrick, 76, long a resident of Milton township, died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday in the home of her son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Ryan, 303 S. Third street. She had been in failing health for several months.
The former Hettie M. White was born near Milton Aug. 27, 1873, and was married to Fred Westrick Nov. 19, 1890. Mr. Westrick died Oct. 31, 1936.
Mrs. Westrick had been active in Grange circles and the Community club at Milton.
Surviving are one son, Robert Westrick, town of Milton; three daughters, Mrs. B. H. Wells, Beloit, Mrs. Frank McBride, Milton and Mrs. William H. Ryan, Janesville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bert White, Janesville, and Melvin White, Jefferson; and two sisters, Mrs. Stella Wright, Eau Claire and Mrs. Marvin Ames, Milton.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Milton Methodist church, the Rev. Robert Wilkowake officiating. Burial will be in Milton cemetery. Friends may call at 303 S. Third street until 11 a.m. Tuesday when the body will be removed to the Milton church where friends may also call.
