Fred was a math teacher and boys basketball coach at Laquey R-V High School for the past two years.
He is survived by his wife, Marj of the home; his parents, Millard Keenan and Marilyn Hulse, both of Kansas City, Missouri; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Thelma Rodecap of Highland, Kansas; his paternal grandmother, Grace Nesladek of White Cloud, Kansas; one sister, Darla Glunt of Excelsoir Springs, Missouri; two nieces, one nephew, and one great-niece; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Services were held at the Fanning Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church in Highland, Kansas, on Monday, January 24, 1994, at 10 a.m., with Elder Sam L. Twombly officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends were from 7-9 p.m., Sunday, January 23 at the Highland Mortuary of Highland, Kansas. Memorial contributions were suggested to the Freddie Keenan Memorial Fund to be designated later by the family and left in care of the mortuary.
