Services for Bobby Jean Robertson, age 77, of Dublin, Georgia will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel, Rev. Cole Morris and Rev. Wayne Durden will officiate. Mrs. Robertson passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011.

Mrs. Robertson was a lifelong resident of Laurens County, a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, the Adult Senior Sunday School Class and the Women's Missionary Union. She was a member of the Eastern Star and retired from Oxford of Dublin after 36 years of service. She was a faithful wife for 59 years, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her church and her family. Mrs. Robertson was an avid fisherman, loved working in her yards and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful cook and loved by all who met her. She always had a smile and a hug for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and Hessie Bracewell and siblings, Monroe Bracewell, Jimmy Bracewell, Polly Thornton and Wynell Benton.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Earl Robertson of Dublin; daughter, Cathie J. (Tommy) Cumbee of Dublin; son, Robert Earl Robertson, Jr. of Dublin; grandson, Clay Crumpton of Dublin; granddaughter, Lori (Dan) Snipes and great-granddaughter, Caroline Snipes, both of Statesboro; three great-grandsons, Carter Snipes of Statesboro, Domanic Crumpton and Colin Crumpton both of Dublin; four sisters, Lucille Martin of Highland City, FL, Gail Schnurr, Johnnie Mae Brack and Willena Wilkes all of Dublin and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Robertson's nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Red Hill Lodge Masonic 533.

The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
