Dorothy "Dottie" McKissick, of Springdale, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010. She was a graduate of Springdale High School, the New Kensington School of Business and attended the Louise Sallinger School of Design in Pittsburgh. Dottie was the owner of Penn World Attractions (employment agency for talent) and Dottie's Jazzy Junk (antiques and collectables). She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard McKissick, a popular bank leader in Harrisburg; her parents, George and Mary (Horning) Hlatkey; four brothers, George Latkey, Robert Latkey, Clement Latkey and Albert Hlatkey; and five sisters, Agnes Grinder, Margaret Arnold, Eva Miller, Mary Robb and Bertha Lelis; and many other relatives survive. All funeral arrangements were private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
