Mrs. Julia Winters Lived in Kansas Many Years
Funeral services will be held in The White City Methodist church at 4 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Julia Winters, a member of one of White City's pioneer families, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Crisp, Waterloo, Ia., yesterday. Mrs. Winters, 78 years old, was born in Kansas and came to Morris county when she was a small child. She spent her entire life in the White City and Parkerville communities until she moved to Waterloo to make her home with Mrs. Crisp, 5 years. Her body arrived at the home of her brother, John Torgeson, in White City this morning.
In addition to one daughter, a son Alie Winters, also survives. Three brothers and one sister, in addition to John, survives: George, White City: Newt, Kelso; Henry, Council Grove, and Mrs. F. O. Strong, Ukiah, Calif.
Interment will be in the cemetery at Parkerville.
