Born in Warfordsburg, Pa., April 17, 1894, she was the daughter of Thomas and Amanda Harr.
She was the widow of George W. Young, who died in 1968. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Young is survived by one son, Carroll A. Young, Berkeley Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Unger, Berkeley Springs; and Mrs. Mary Helen Damiono, Belvedere, N.J; one sister, Mrs. Daisy Bear, Hagerstown; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren, three sons, Gerald, Bernard and Kenneth preceded her in death.
Services were conducted at the Hunter Funeral Home Monday, November 17, by her pastor, the Rev. Thomas W. Jackson, with interment in Greenway Cemetery.
