Van Horn was born Mar. 28, 1878, in Guyville, and had made his home in Lima and vicinity for more than 26 years.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret, and daughters, Mrs. Ray Brock, 820 N. Union-st, and Miss Maria Van Horn of the Park-av residence; sons, Basil of 722 N. Elizabeth-st, and Clyde of 733 N. Elizabeth-st; a sister, Mrs. Stella Neff of Springfield, O., and three grandchildren.
Final rites will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Siferd funeral chapel with the Rev. C. L. Quinn of the Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
The body will be taken to the residence Thursday afternoon to await services.
