MRS. GEORGE ELSEA CLAIMED BY DEATH

Mrs. Ann Lora Elsea, 76, 207 Clinton Street, died at 2 o'clock Monday morning in a Detroit hospital from heart trouble. She had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill for three weeks.

A native of Hancock county, Mrs. Elsea was born Sept. 16, 1864. Her parents were W.A. and Elizabeth Spitler. She lived her entire life in Hancock county.

She was married in 1886 to James T. Poe who died in 1896. Four years later she was married to George F. Elsea who died in 1938.

Mrs. Elsea is survived by two sons, C. William Poe, of Cleveland, and Dr. E. Dean Elsea of Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. Mora May, of Toledo; Mrs. L.W. Colwell, of Maumee and Mrs. Charles Slike, of McComb; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A daughter, Mrs. Harry W. Armbrecht, of Cleveland, died in 1932.

Mrs. Elsea was a member of the Howard Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held in the Barnhart Funeral Home with the Rev. A.E. Grant, officiated. Interment followed in Maple Grove Cemetery.
