"Fall Fatal To Man, 83 - John C Allison - From injuries received when he fell and fractured his leg about 10 days ago at his home in Moran

Addition, John C Allison, 83, died at midnight Sunday, January 15, 1939, in St. Elizabeth Hospital.  Mr. Allison was born March 25, 1855, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otha Allison.  His wife, Lucinda Allison preceded him in death in Oct 1930.  In 1932 he was married to Watson, Miranda, who survives.  

Besides his widow, the following survive:  Two brothers Charles-Danville, and Tom Allison- Jamesburg, a sister, Mrs. Ella Harris-Oakwood;  two stepsons, John and Samuel R Watson, both of Danville;  and three step-daughters, Mrs. G. Bullock - Bismarck, Mrs. Ira Grove-Georgetown, and Mrs. Joseph Shields- Louisiana MO.  

The body is at the Berhalter Funeral Home where it will remain for services at 1:30 pm Wednesday.  The Reverend J F McMahan, past of First Christian Church, will officiate. Burial in Potomac Cemetery."
