HAMILTON, N.J. - Hazel M. Berkeyheiser, 85, of White Horse, died May 23, 2007, at home.
Hazel was born in Mount Enterprise. She moved to Jacksonville, Fla. in 1942, where she met her husband and they married in November of 1943. She has been a resident of White Horse since 1943. She worked at Thermoid in the late 40's as an inspector of brake linings. She later worked at Shell Chemical Co. as a food handler for T&M Vending Co.
She was a member of the Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church and a past den mother of Pack 37 sponsored by the church. She was a life member and past president of the White Horse Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was a life member of the Joseph McNerney Disabled American Veterans Chapter 41 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Golden Nuggets Senior Citizens of White Horse.
She was the daughter of the late Frank & Elizabeth Lollar and mother of the late James Michael Berkeyheiser.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 and from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at the funeral home.
