Age: 67, passed away on January 28, 2011, at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs , CA. She was a resident of Sun Lakes Country Club, Banning California. She was born on March 2, 1943 in Springfield Illinois.
Sheila spent most of her life in Southern California where she worked as a registered nurse, in various hospitals in the Inland Empire, and as the Health Education Director at Med Partners, Inc., and Riverside Medical Clinic.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Sherman B. Gallas; six children, Michael Gallas of Rapid City, SD, Lori Gerard (husband Bret) of Dallas, TX, Shael Trunk (wife Adrienne) of Anaheim, CA, Marcie Abrams of Dallas TX, Tracy Gomez of Redlands CA, Michael Ross of Las Vegas, NV, 10 grandchildren, Cherissa, Tamara, and Samantha Gallas, Justin and Brandon Levy, Megan and Joel Abrams, Rachel and Joseph Gomez, and Aliza Trunk; and 6 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, 11:30 am, at Weaver Mortuary,1177 Beaumont Ave., Beaumont, CA, followed by an interment service at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA, at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to the American Diabetes Association
