"WELL KNOWN RESIDENT OF TRYONVILLE DIES - Mrs J C Armstrong (sic) [Mrs J S Armstrong], 67 years of age, well known resident of Tryonville, passed away at her home Saturday evening at 7:30 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. She had lived in that vicinity practically all her life. She was united in marriage with James Armstrong on April 24, 1915. Mrs Armstrong was a woman of pleasing personality and held in high regard by a wide circle of friends. She leaves the following children: Elliott Hutchison of North East, Carl Hutchison of Erie, Mrs Hubert (sic) [Herbert] Armstrong of Centerville, and the following brothers and sisters: Tray Whitman of Titusville, James Whitman of Spartansburg, Mrs Lillian Whitall (sic) [Wheatall] of Akron, O, and Mrs Clarence Boyles of Erie, Mich. The body was removed to the Waid and Arnold funeral home at Townville and was taken to the home Sunday morning. Services in her memory will be conducted from the U B church, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Sunnyside cemetery at Centerville."
