Husband of Vauda (Burt) Shea (Born 1909), father of Ralph C. Shea, Jr (1935-2007), grandfather of Rachel (Shea) Beck.

Graduate of Young Harris College and Emory University.

Married Vauda Harris Burt on April 24, 1934.

Served as Minister in many Methodist churches throughout Georgia.

Son of one of the founders of Woodlawn Methodist Church in Augusta, GA.

Served as a chaplain and Colonel in the U.S. Army in WWII.

Cause of Death: Heart attack (on the drive home to Georgia from California)
