Mrs. Roy Regnier
Katie Dacy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Dacy, was born April 7, 1878 in St. Louis, Mo., and died at Fairbury January 3, 1949, at the age of 70 years, 8 months 27 days.
When a child she moved with her parents to Kenton, Okla. Her parents died when she was 12 years old. She married Roy Regnier in Springfield, Colo. June 25, 1903. They lived near Springfield until 1926 when they moved to Nebraska. They had nine children, three of whom preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, six children Felix of Diller, Paul and Ivan of Fairbury, Louis of Norfolk, Mrs. Pamelia Seggerman of Fairbury and Juanita at home; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters Mrs. Lucy B. Skelly of Boise City, Okla., and Mrs. Nellie D. Cochran of Modesto, Cal.; one brother James Dacy of Clayton, NM.
Funeral services were conducted Jan. 6 at the Fairbury Methodist church, Rev. A. G. Swanson officiating.
