Ernestine Priscilla "Pat" (Albert) Lewis, 79, wife of the late Bernard C. Lewis, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Westgate Manor in Bangor. She was born July 13, 1927 in East Millinocket, a daughter of Ernest and Alma (Chasse) Albert. Pat grew up in and attended Millinocket schools, graduating from Stearns High School, class of 1944. A resident of Frankfort for 27 years, Pat's strong faith in God and participation in a prayer group with her good friends, Doris Tripp, Cecilia Tripp, Mildred Baker, and Ruth Stone and others from the Frankfort community has helped lift her and carry her through the illness of her husband Bernard and throughout her own lengthy illness. Pat has served as the Frankfort Town Historian for many years, writing several books about local sites and history of the area. Pat also taught guitar and played her guitars and sang for all who would listen. She sang with the Connecticut Chapter of the Sweet Adelines for several years. Music

She is survived by her son, Vernon Lewis of Vermont and her daughter, Linda Kestenbaum and her husband Leslie of Connecticut; her grandsons, Aaron Kestenbaum and his wife Amy, and Matthew Kestenbaum; her brother, Lewellyn Albert and his wife Ellen of Florida; three sisters, Sylvianne Haines of Millinocket, Joanne LaFontaine of Middletown, CT, and Carol Gullo-Jones and her husband Robert of Meriden, CT; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Alan Albert.
