Her obituary states that her husband Charles preceeded her in death by about 15 years, yet I have found him on census, marriage, birth and death records up until 1941 when he did indeed die. I am quite certain that these records do in fact pertain to the same Charles Fraser in question here. The records state that he was born in Cleveland, Ohio, that his father's name is Elen L. Fraser, born in New York, and that he (Charles) is a painter by trade. I believe that the similarities of these facts as well as some others not mentioned are too great to be dismissed as mere coincidence.

MRS. MARY FRASER DIES AT CHICAGO

Mrs. Mary Fraser, formerly of Oshkosh, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucia Ray, at Chicago, Friday evening. When she was a resident of Oshkosh, Mrs Fraser lived on Reed Street. She lived here until 1910 when she moved to Chicago.
Her husband, Charles Fraser, died about 15 years ago, since which time she had resided with another daughter, Mrs. Harry Clausen at Chicago most of the time.
Mrs. Fraser was born in Denmark 82 years ago. She came to the United States at the age of 15.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lucia Ray and Mrs. Harry Clausen, Chicago; and Mrs. Edward Conklin, Oshkosh; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gene Johnston, West De Pere; and three sisters who live in Denmark.
Mrs. Fraser was a member of the Danish Sisterhood.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home with the Rev. H. C. Spear, Pastor of the Algoma Boulevard Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening and until the time of the services.

FRASER - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Fraser were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Fiss & Bills funeral home with the Rev. H. C. Spear, Pastor of the Algoma Boulevard Methodist Church, officiating. The pallbearers were Arthur, Ralph and Wilbur Conklin, Burton Ray, William Tatro and Robert Blechl. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery.
