LIZELLA - Julia Lillian Shiver Long died Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Friday, March 25, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 5455 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Macon, Georgia 31216, with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Franklin Etheridge and Reverend Tim Long will officiate.
Mrs. Long, the daughter of the late Warren and Ella Sinclair Shiver, was born September 27, 1918, in Dudley, Georgia. Her husband, of almost seventy years, Henry Lee Long preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. -Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Mitchell of Lizella; grandchildren, James Robert Mitchell, Jr. of Lizella and Bryan (Jennifer) Mitchell of Macon; great grandchildren, Ellison Mitchell and Emersyn Mitchell.
