The son of Michael and Margaret (Hoarty) Larner and widower of Catherine Tierney, Thomas resided on Duncan Avenue, was a veteran of World War I, and had worked as a helper mechanic and factory laborer. He died at the US Marine Hospital of atrophic cirrhosis of the liver, and following funeral services at St Cecilia Church, was interred at Calvary on 28 May 1937.
