BONNIE LYNN SIMS, 64 YEARS

Bonnie Lynn Sims, Anadarko, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday morning June 10th, 2008 at Physicians Hospital at the age of 64. Bonnie was born April 7th, 1944, to Beatrice McKee and Hobart Hicks. Following her mother's tragic death, Bonnie was raised by her maternal grandmother, Jennie Lynn Bidwell who preceded her in death in 1996. Before her extended illness Bonnie enjoyed fishing and collecting angels and butterflies.
She is survived by her husband Lewis R. Sims of the home; son Robert McCorkle of Ft. Wainwright, Alaska; step-son, Curtis R. Sims of Muskogee, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; Tara and Tyler McCorkle of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Christopher Sims, Mary Mell, Caleb Lewis Sims all of Muskogee, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren; Madison, David, Ruby all of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and a very special long time friend Garnetta Woodard of Charlotte, N.C.
Funeral services will be held graveside Friday, June 13, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Warner Memorial Cemetery under direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
