BANGOR, Elsie M. Carlson, 82, died Jan. 14, 1983, at a local nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Atkinson, July 12, 1900, the daughter of Henry J. and Iva (Moulton) Paine. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and lived in Holden for many years. She was the wife of the late Elis Carlson. She is survived by one brother, Ernest Paine of Stetson and several nieces and nephews. Spring burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hermon.
