GLASGOW — Imo Gene Bowman Howard, 79, of Glasgow, died March 21, 2011, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. The Barren County native was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a daughter of the late Josh Peden and Florence Walker Peden. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lovel Bowman; her second husband, Bronston Howard; two sisters, Fannie Smith and Mary Catherine Bartley; and a brother, John Peden. Funeral is at 2 p.m. Thursday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Mutter and her husband, Bruce, of Glasgow; and four nieces, Sandra Simmons, Betty Shelman, Faye Patton and Nikki Norman.
