Services For Mrs. Ulmer Held Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Thornhill Ulmer, 87, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating were Rev. Jim Slay and Rev. Jack Loflin. Burial was in Columbia Cemetery.
Mrs. Ulmer died at 10:15 p. m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Convarest Home in Hattiesburg.
She was a native of Marion County, born Feb. 22, 1886.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mack Bass of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. C. J. Hartsfield of Hansboro and Mrs. Nettie Boyd of Gulfport; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rickey Salter, Richard Salter, Shelby Simmons, Clifford Simmons, Mack Simmons and Johnson Lee Tullos.
