MOUNT WOLF - Robert W. Krebs, 78, of Saginaw, died at 2:33 a.m. Saturday at Normandie Ridge in West Manchester Township. He was the husband of Olivia (Ford) Krebs, to whom he was married for 57 years. The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Community United Methodist Church, Market Street, Saginaw. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. Viewing will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Diehl Funeral Home and Cremation Center Inc., 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Krebs was born March 28, 1923, in Saginaw. He was the son of the late James and Julia (Shermyer) Krebs. He was a manager for Roanna Girl, a sewing factory in Hallam, retiring in 1986 after 38 years of service. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Saginaw. Mr. Krebs also is survived by a son, Robert G. Krebs of Mount Wolf; three daughters, Brenda Fritz of Columbia and Rena Miller and Lona Oyler, both of Mount Wolf; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Krebs of Mount Wolf, Ray Krebs and Gary Krebs, both of York, and Richard Krebs of Manchester; and two sisters, Fae Gingerich of Mount Wolf and Rosetta Feese of Wrightsville. Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. John Fueller.
