Wanda F. Banks, 96, of Kansas City, KS, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 25, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS, where friends may call from 11:30-1:30 p.m. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice House. Wanda was born September 17, 1914, in Hardin County, Iowa, and had lived most of her life in the Kansas City area. She had been a storeroom clerk for 25 years retiring in 1976. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beatrice Adair. Wanda is survived by a daughter and her husband, Pauline and Walt Bradbury; son-in-law, Edgar Adair; three granddaughters and their husbands: Cindy and Tim Turner, Debbie and Steve Volts, and Jeanene and Kenny Hoffman; 6 great grandchildren, and 12 great- great grandchildren.
