Our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Opal Inez Richardson, passed away on March 20, 2011 in Sandy, Utah. She resided at 1122 West Fremont Avenue (1110 South) in the Glendale neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of her death.

She was born in Springfield, Colorado to Bonnie Lee Huff and Frank B. Wiggins on July 3, 1930.

She married Carl L. Richardson in May of 1945. They reared five children: Nadine, Carma, Rick, Leta Rae, and Cindy; and left several grand and great-grandchildren.

Opal loved working on puzzles, country western music, and was a very talented seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl; daughters, Leta Rae and Carma; her parents; brothers Tom and Eddie; grandson Greg. She is survived by her remaining children and grandchildren as well as her sisters, Jane Beck and Judy Barnett.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 1784 North North Aaron Drive, Tooele, Utah. Friends may visit one hour prior at the Church.
Interment: Tooele City Cemetery.
