Virginia Mae Louise Fuller Mays, 83, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011. Service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. Memorials: Worth Baptist Church, 4900 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76119.

Virginia Mae Louise Fuller Mays was born into a large, loving family of seven children on Sept. 1, 1927. Louise settled in Fort Worth. She and her husband, George Mays Sr., owned and operated several businesses. She and her family attended Worth Baptist Church for many years. The world is a far better place having known her. Louise is loved and will be missed greatly by many. Louise was preceded in death by her husband; son, Charles Wayne Donaghey; and siblings, Mary LaSoya, Betty Lou Fuller, Henry Fuller and James Fuller.

Survivors: Children, Linda Dian Neeley, Alton Ray Steakley and George Dewey Mays Jr.; grandchildren, George, Robert, James A., and James E. Barlow, Charlene Vomastek, Charlotte VanLare, Angela McAllister, Alesha Cantu, Corina, Charles Jr. and Joseph Donaghey; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
